Operations Integration

Give recruiters a structured first read of every Workable application

Connect jobs, candidates, and pipeline stages so agents can summarize applications against your criteria.

What we can build

AI workflows connected to Workable

When a role attracts hundreds of applications, the first read is where time disappears and where good candidates get missed. An agent connected to Workable can read each new application against the requirements you defined for the job, write a short structured summary with evidence from the resume, and flag missing information, so recruiters start from a clear picture instead of a raw PDF.

We connect through the Workable API with a scoped access token and use webhooks to react when a candidate is created or moves to a new stage. Summaries are added as comments on the candidate profile, where your team already works, and hiring managers can receive a short brief in Slack or Teams before an interview.

Hiring is a regulated area, and the design reflects that. The agent never rejects candidates or moves them out of the pipeline on its own; it reports how an application matches stated criteria, and a person decides. We exclude protected characteristics from the criteria, keep a record of what the agent saw and wrote, and align retention with your existing candidate data policy.

How we design the integration

Reliability starts before the connection

01

Criteria design

Turn each job's requirements into explicit, job-related criteria with must-haves and nice-to-haves, reviewed by the hiring manager before the agent uses them.

02

Evidence-based summaries

Quote the parts of the resume behind each assessment and mark unclear or missing information, so recruiters can verify a summary in seconds.

03

Human decisions only

Limit the agent to comments and suggestions. Stage changes, rejections, and candidate communication remain with your recruiters, and every agent output is logged.

Common questions

About the Workable integration

Can the agent reject candidates automatically?

No. We deliberately design candidate screening agents to support decisions, not make them. Under the EU AI Act, AI used to evaluate job candidates is treated as high-risk, and similar rules exist elsewhere, so final decisions stay with people.

How do you prevent bias in the summaries?

Criteria are limited to job-related requirements and reviewed before use, protected characteristics are excluded, and we test summaries on a sample of past applications to check for consistent treatment before launch.

Does it work with an ATS other than Workable?

Yes. The same approach works with other applicant tracking systems that offer an API. Workable is a common choice for growing companies, so we use it as the reference setup.

Want to connect Workable to an AI agent?

If this is not the exact system you use, we can scope a custom integration around your tools, data, and approval rules.
