Let AI agents handle the first pass on every Zendesk ticket
Connect tickets, macros, and help center content so agents can classify, route, and draft replies.
AI workflows connected to Zendesk
Most support time is not spent answering hard questions. It goes into reading each new ticket, setting the right category, priority, and group, finding the order or account it refers to, and writing the same three answers again. An agent connected to Zendesk can do that first pass: classify the ticket, fill custom fields, add the relevant customer context as an internal note, and prepare a reply grounded in your help center and macros.
We connect through the Zendesk API with a dedicated account and OAuth or an API token, and use triggers and webhooks to start the agent when a ticket is created or updated. Because the agent can also reach your other systems, such as an order database, CRM, or ERP, it can answer "where is my order?" with real data instead of a generic macro.
Customer-facing replies stay under your team's control. By default the agent writes internal notes and draft replies, and an agent in Zendesk sends them. Automatic replies are enabled only for narrow ticket types where the answer is well-defined and the agent's confidence threshold has been tested on your real tickets.
Reliability starts before the connection
Ticket structure
Map your forms, custom fields, tags, groups, and SLA policies, so classification follows the rules your team already uses rather than a new taxonomy.
Grounded drafts
Retrieve help center articles, approved macros, and customer records, and keep source references in the internal note so reviewers can check the answer quickly.
Safe escalation
Route tickets the agent cannot resolve, along with sensitive topics like refunds, legal threats, or complaints, to the right group with a short summary, and never auto-reply to them.
About the Zendesk integration
Will the agent reply to customers on its own?
Not by default. It starts by writing internal notes and draft replies that your team sends. Automatic replies are switched on only for ticket types where test results on your own tickets justify it.
How is this different from Zendesk's built-in AI features?
Built-in features work well inside Zendesk. A custom agent can also use data that lives elsewhere, such as orders, billing, or product usage, and follows escalation and approval rules designed for your team.
Do we need to restructure our Zendesk setup first?
Usually not. We work with your existing fields, tags, and groups. If classification is inconsistent today, we will show where during Discovery, because the agent can only be as consistent as the categories it is asked to use.
Want to connect Zendesk to an AI agent?
If this is not the exact system you use, we can scope a custom integration around your tools, data, and approval rules.
